Vom 05. bis zum 07. Juni 2019 machten wir, drei Schüler des Seminarfachs „Wider das Vergessen“ der 11. Klasse, uns auf den Weg nach Bad Münder bei Hannover zur Lernstatt Demokratie. Im Rahmen des Verbandes Demokratisch Handeln wurde dort unser Seminarfach, welches Erinnerungsarbeit betreibt, ausgezeichnet.
Die Lernstatt fand an der musikalischen Grundschule in Bad Münder statt; wir waren in Hameln in einer Jugendherberge untergebracht. Am Mittwoch fand neben einem Erfahrungsaustausch und einer begrüßenden Präsentationen auch die Preisverleihung für den Magold-Friedländer Preis statt. Am zweiten Tag wurde der Erfahrungsaustausch zu Ende geführt und im Anschluss diverse Workshops durchgeführt – unter anderem gab es einen Umwelt Workshop, einen Slackline Workshop und einen Kunstdruck Workshop. Des Weiteren gab es am Abend ein Entertainmentprogramm, welches satirisch und politisch angehaucht war. Am letzten Tag machten wir uns auf den Weg zur letzten Veranstaltung, bei der die Workshops und die 48 ausgezeichneten Projekte, zu denen auch wir gehören, von den über 250 Bewerbern kurz vorgestellt wurden. Im Anschluss machten wir uns wieder auf den Weg nach St. Wendel und berichteten im Seminarfach von unseren Erlebnissen. Vor allem der persönliche Austausch über die untschiedlichsten Projekte mit den Gruppen aus den anderen Bundesländern empfanden wir als sehr spannend und interessant. So haben wir u. a. Schüler aus Baden-Württemberg, Sachsen, Hamburg und Berlin kennengelernt und uns von ihnen inspirieren lassen. Wir danken dem Team von Demokratisch Handeln für die gute Organisation und können die Teilnahme nur weiterempfehlen.
